I spent two years as a weekly paid digital columnist for CCC re-creating designer rooms on a budget. My duties included design work, user research, creating DIY tutorials, fielding reader requests and questions, and (most importantly) creating & sourcing content for posts comparing designer items with affordable alternatives. I got paid to write and look at furniture and decor--best job ever.
